Based in Hollywood, California, Desecrate has been persistently rocking the local metal scene there for over several years, continuously selling out venues such as The House Of Blues, The Whiskey A Go Go, The Key Club, The Troubadour, etc. What differentiates them from their fellow local metal bands is their catchy, in your face songs and over the top, high energy live performance. They have also played shows in other parts of the U.S. including; Phoenix, AZ, Denver, CO and Las Vegas, NV and opened for nationally acclaimed act like Dragon Force, Steel Panther, Overkill, Smashing Pumpkins and Slash.
Desecrate is a unique mixture of both metal and rock music - influenced by many popular bands and musicians spanning over the past 40 years. This complex combination makes them a band which cannot be easily branded by the tags, labels and musical stereotypes. Their influences range from heavy metal ground breakers such as Metallica and Pantera all the way to bluesy rockers like Led Zeppelin and The Doors (Complete list below).
