"What People are saying about DESERT HEAT"

Check out what people in the Industry are saying about DESERT HEAT…

“DESERT HEAT gets my vote as “INDIE GROUP OF THE YEAR”

--Joe Wood, RDR Music Group

“Desert Heat has been a consistent touring band, with a growing and loyal fan base. They have a strong work ethic, and an exciting live show to back it up. Desert Heat is certainly an asset to the Canadian Country Music Industry”

--Jason McCoy – singer, songwriter, artist

"Desert Heat's “live” stage show has been heralded as unequalled in Canadian Country Music.

--Larry Delaney, Country Music News

"Desert Heat’s exciting performance was one of the highlights of this year’s Havelock Jamboree. I highly recommend these guys.”

-- Jack Blakely - Havelock Jamboree

“These guys are definitely heading for stardom. Don’t miss ‘em!”

--Riverside Jam

"Having witnessed firsthand their exhilarating performance and delivering what may have been the concert of the summer, I marvelled at the obvious
chemistry between bandmates and the pure joy with which they seem to play. Explosive, magnetic, pick your adjective, Desert Heat raises the bar."

--Kenny King, CBC Media

'I would highly recommend Desert Heat to anyone that wanted an outstanding band, awesome sound and a great bunch of guys. It was a genuine pleasure to meet the band, the guys were great & more importantly they were having a good time on stage & the audience really responded to that. That is what it is all about!"

--Dan Bissonnette, Entertainment Director, Navan Fair

"Desert Heat's live show is simply amazing... these entertainers definitely rank as one of Canada's best!"

--Kevin Youngblut, CityTV Winnipeg

"...from the true-blue country fans, to bluegrassers and with blasts of classic rock in between. Desert Heat pleases everyone! What an amazing group of
entertainers, with an obvious love of pleasing the audience. For an opening band (for George Canyon) to hold an audience is fantastic in itself, and to
further receive a standing ovation is even more amazing. In my 15 years with Festival of the Islands, it is the ONLY standing ovation and call for an encore
ever recieved by an opening band...this should be a headline band!"

--Jan Gravelle,Event co-ordinator, Festival of the Islands

"...the announcer was absolutely correct when he called Desert Heat the most exciting country band in Canada. The energy of Desert Heat and the audience
participation was awesome, they simply blew us away! People were still dancing as they went to their cars."

--Eric Ranzenhofer, President, Air M.S.

'Desert Heat is a real treat for the ears, but until you've seen them "LIVE" you are missing the meat of the meal."

--Pete Timmoney, K103 FM

“DESERT HEAT is one exciting act…from the opening chords to the last bar, these guys offer a biting style that leaves you wanting more.”

--George Peden - Country Stars Online

“I am tremendously impressed with DESERT HEAT and their music. They are truly inspiring and deserving of International recognition. I really believe Desert Heat could be the next big country group”

--Gilles Godard – Olé Publishing Nashville

“Don’t try to categorize their sound, because you will find everything from Rock to Country to Bluegrass and other styles. Partially you will be remembered of bands such as Exile, Confederate Rail Road or Little Texas. But these songs, for example Every Little Thing, are always played and mixed with a generous dash of self-reliance. Their sound is compactly played and professionally mixed. It’s not for nothing that Nashville started to get word of this band. They do not need advertising or marketing. Wherever they play, they can rely on winning new fans who will spread their musical qualities by word-of-mouth.”
--Bruno Michel - Swiss Country Music Journalist

“Desert Heat conjures up a sound swirling with tie-dyed sounds of The Eagles, Pure Prairie League, and the Outlaws.”

--Maverick Country Magazine

"Desert Heat's new album, “Tail lights and Love” is nothing short of dynamite stuff. It places Desert Heat alongside The Road Hammers, Doc Walker, and other big league Cancountry groups."

--Larry Delaney, Country Music News

"The band Desert Heat is a dynamic and crowd pleasing ensemble of vocals, guitars, drums, and banjo who struck a chord when it came to entertaining the
audience. A number of original pieces mixed in with a variety of popular songs kept the crowd wanting more. The directors and committee were very pleased with the high quality of show they provided the audience. One of the best performances ever held at our fair."

--Karen Crandall Allnut, President BCAS, Brome Fair
