Deshun

Michigan native, Deshun Howard, moved to the Tampa area in the summer of 2006, seeking the warmth and beauty that Florida offers after spending several years singing backup and opening for other musicians up north. Deshun learned to sing in church from a young age, and this raw talent enabled him to be on stage with Shania Twain and open for musicians like R&B group 112, soul singer Frankie Beverly, and jazz artist Alexander Zonchik, to name a few. Although these experiences were exciting, Deshun felt Gods call to move in a different direction. He was led to create music that shares his own personal walk with Jesus and gives glory to God.

Our goal is to REACH the loss, keep the youth involved, interested, motivated and on FIRE for GOD, through testimonial music. Deshun's music, serves as a great alternative to today's top 40 secular music.

Residing now in Palm Harbor, FL. God has called and commissioned this relevant and powerful Christian Solo Artist to minister to people of all ages through his music!

Deshun's previous EP featured the radio single "Why" which has been playing on Tampa's Spirit FM 90.5 since the release in late 2010.

"Soul Muzik" album, debuted in the fall of 2012, & featured radio singles "For The Love" & "One And Only", currently today still in rotation on Tampa's Spirit FM 90.5, Canada's CKO 107.3 FM, & several internet radio stations!

In Jan. 2013 Deshun was featured in Florida's Christian Magazine OVERFLOW.

Currently on his "HANDS UP" tour, Deshun is promoting the new EP & single "PUT CHA HANDS UP", inspired by the scripture, PSALM 63:4 -I willl praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands-.
