Bio
Living in Oakdale, California, Desiree always had a vision and a dream to move to the country. She loved the lifestyle of being a country girl, and the relaxation that was brought living there. The place that always came to her mind was Nashville, Tennessee. Desiree has said, "My dream has always been to play at the Grand Ole Opry one day." But how could someone's dream come true by living out in California with no ties to a country lifestyle?
After graduating high school at the age of eighteen, things started to shape up for her. She decided to hold nothing back, and move out to Tennessee. With her family's support for her decision, Desiree's dream was quickly being molded into a reality. The one thing her mom wanted her to do was to get a house when she moved to Tennessee. Desiree did just that. She planted her feet in Murfreesboro, and enrolled into MTSU's Recording Industry. Her career choice was to be an artist while understanding the business in commercial songwriting.
With country icons such as The Judds, Shania Twain, Reba, Trisha Yearwood, and Dolly Parton, as her influences, Desiree kneow exactly how to pen a song, and connect with her listeners. She has been writing ever since she was fifteen, and performing at seventeen. Her overall message is to stay positive no matter how hard life can get. The outcome will always be worth waiting for. A quote that she lives by that connects to her message is by Dolly Parton that says, "Storms make trees, take deeper roots." Desiree is finally able to enjoy her dream, and the country lifestyle she always has admired.
