Des Larson is a highly skilled guitarist with a natural showmanship that engages any audience, combining small town charm with an energetic and polished urban appeal. Larson's alternative and west coast music radiates positive with the likes of John Butler Trio, Current swell and the Boom Booms.


Des Larson is an entertainer from the West Coast. Style and small town heart bridges the gap, allowing the music to appeal to the masses. Des was born to perform. Church was what started his passion, ever since, singing has been a life long intensive. "In church, my mother would kick me to stand up and sing. Now I'll never stop performing thanks to her." With straight-to-the-heart vocals, soulful falsetto,
mesmerizing guitar work and promising future, its hard
not to be a Des Larson fan.

His band is a "deadly" trio. Consistent and reliable. A new six track Ep and Music Video will be released late March. Inspired by a long road of dedication, these songs are a product of a decade of preparation.


The highlight of this past summer was performing on the main stage at The Big Time Out that Cumberland Village Works puts on every year. The festival included many big names including Kuba Oms, Kim Churchill, The Boom Booms, Current Swell and many others.

Des has recently performed to 500 fans at the Rio Theater... a sold out crowd. He has played in many venues around Vancouver including The Media Club, The Roxy, Joe's Apartment, The Caprice and The Centre for Performing Arts. He was also part of the Vancouver Sun Run 2011 performing in front of over 50,000 people. He has also performed at the Alex Goodin Hall in Victoria.

Des has competed in many competitions most notably this past summer at the PNE winning second prize and receiving over $2000 in cash and $7000 in scholarships.


In 2010 the Decade Album was released. It is a full length album featuring Beautiful and Tofino.

In 2008 Des put out a 4 song E.P. with DesolateSound Productions.

Back in the day Des performed with Beyond Nootka AKA Banana Fish. Once Upon a Time" an original song made it onto RCI's compilation C.D.
