Olsztyn, Poland, November 25, 2012 - Dead for almost 20 years, it managed to survive in extremely hostile conditions almost unaffected. The death metal beast rises once again to cast its unholy spells against all opposition and all odds. Prepare for the attack.
Marek "Kosciej" Makosiej, one of the founders of Desolator, the reborn death metal monster, says: “20 years after the first roar, Desolator is back from the grave with some unfinished business to settle.” "Kosciej" continues: "It's been like a thorn in the heart through all these years that so many good tracks that people got mad to during gigs with such killing squads like Vader or Christ Agony in the '90s could simply die forgotten. So the beast has been unleashed again and ready to possess the souls of death metal maniacs all over the world. Seek shelter if you dare."
Desolator was founded in Olsztyn in 1989 by Marek "Kosciej" Makosiej (g./voc.) and Arek "Jasiu" Jankowski (dr.) as a grindcore band. Soon after discovering Napalm Death's "Scum", they also discovered death metal bands such as Benediction, Bolt Thrower, Entombed or Morbid Angel and started to move in that direction. Together with Tomek "Orzelek" Orzel (b.g./voc.) and Radek Lewandowski (g.), in 1992, they recorded their first demo tape "…without anaesthetization…". 20 years later, Desolator is back with their debut album containing all the stuff they had ever created recorded from scratch. "Last Wish" will be released on 5th December 2012 and available in digital distribution from all major music sites like iTunes or CDBaby. The first single of this record, "Born of Sin (9)", is already free to listen for all death metal maniacs out there through Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
The Band is available for interviews, album reviews and all other inquiries. Contact Marek Makosiej (desolatordeathmetal@gmail.com) for more information. - PR.com

Bio
Desolator was founded in Olsztyn in 1989 by Marek "Kosciej" Makosiej (g./voc.) and Arek "Jasiu" Jankowski (dr.) as a grindcore band. Soon after discovering Napalm Death's "Scum", they also discovered death metal bands such as Benediction, Bolt Thrower or Morbid Angel and started to move in that direction. After the 1st bass player, Wojtek "Wróbel" Orzel, had left the band soon after forming, the b
and hired Tomek "Gruby" Ryzewski for this position. However, the most important changes were still to take place. And they did. Tomek "Orzelek" Orzel was in to become the voice of Desolator, Gruby left, Orzelek became the bass player, too, and the band hired the second guitarist, Radek Lewandowski. It was the strongest and the most productive Desolator lineup. In 1992, they released their debut demo-tape "...without anaesthetization...". Years 1990-1993 were the best in Desolator's history. The band played many successful gigs with such giants of Polish metal underground as Vader, Slashing Death, Unborn, Christ Agony. In 1993-1994, the band started looking for the new fields of expression, which caused serious lineup changes that soon led to band's split-up. After 20 years of releasing "...without anaesthetization...", Desolator is back with the full-time debut album containing all songs (but one - the first Desolator death metal track ever - "Decay of Souls" - perhaps we will have the chance to publish it in the future) written and performed from 1989 to 1993.
At the moment, Desolator remains a studio project led by Marek "Kosciej" Makosiej with the mental support from all the former members of the band.
