Despoiler was founded several years ago and since then has evolved quite a bit. The first few years were not very active and spent mostly writing material and not playing seriously but recently the band have took a far more serious attitude following the addition of new guitarist Jim Pierce.
Now the band pride themselves in playing tight, exciting gigs and performing their music rather than just playing it.
A blend of multiple metal styles with a certain uniqueness and a mix of clean and growled vocals, we don't consider ourself any one genre; so just call us Scum Metal.
Our style can be classed as a blend from anything from Thrash Metal, Power Metal, Hardcore Metal, Death Metal, Hard Rock, Gothic Metal, Progressive Metal, Punk Rock and more. Basically if you like any of these genres, you might like us.
Currently Despoiler are focusing on writing, recording and performing new material.
