Sherrard 'DessMarvel' Cade started rapping at the age of 15.He grew up in Wichita KS, and still lives there today working towards getting a new view of life.Sherrard experienced some trouble with the law in his earlier age from 10-15,not going to school while on probation and not learning from his mistakes,trying to beat the system.Then Something clicked in his head that told him he had to change this isn't the life that he wanted to live.While in jail for a 3 month bid he had to do he came up with the name 'Des' from a book that he felt he was about him,how everyone used to pick on him,how they all just treated him as if he didn't exist,like he was nothing.so then he came up with the name 'marvel' from marvel comics."Everything you hear from me is gonna be real and from the heart,how i feel about life and the people in it" Dess Marvel makes music that everyone can relate to.If its about videogames,comics,having fun, he is an all around type of guy, once you meet him you will be glad you did."First and foremost i am influenced by god and me because me and him are one so i feel that nobody will help me besides him."my mother cause she took care of me,i am influenced by the world i cant describe it the people that cant defend there-selves influence me
