Destination Sanity

Destination Sanity is melodic metal band from Abbeville, Louisiana. Diverse bass lines and thunderously solid beats backup their aggressive yet soothing guitar riffs. Their enticing vocal melodies accented by tasteful harmonies and outrageously energetic live shows have fueled the fire of their self titled EP, and have helped to build a loyal and growing fan base. In February of 2003, they were able to rise above the competition and take first in a battle of the bands in Lafayette, LA. Baret Fritz (28), formerly of Cringe, on main vocals and guitar has been writing and playing since he was 11 with influences such as Randy Rhodes and Kurt Cobain. Joey Touchet (20) on drums was drum captain of New Iberia Senior High School drumline and also former drum instructor at Catholic High School of New Iberia. He has been playing since he was 8 and is influenced by Sevendust amoung others. Keith Hebert (20), on lead guitart and backup vocals, has been playing since he was 11. He also spent two semesters at U.L.L. majoring in guitar performance. He has musical influences ranging from Jerry Cantrell to Jimmy Page. Tara Miller (Soop) (23) on bass and backup vocals make up what is becoming the unstoppable force known as Destination Sanity.
