DETAINED

DETAINED is a band who dont sound like anyone else..the main idea with creating the music is to entertain people live and not matter what age or what category of music you like. But shure it is a positive thing if you like rock/metal. We have rocknroll influenced guitars and blend it up with heavier riffs and the singer is strong female vocals. We have played in a bunch of bands before but this is a newstart for us and wich we want to continue doing because we have so much fun playing together.
The history is:
DAVID AHLSTROM, the founder of DETAINED had written a bunch of songs that didn't suit his former band. So he asked his friend and bassplayer FREDRIK BOHLIN if they would get together and start a new band.
David got in touch with drummer ANDREAS ENGMAN (Searing I) which also joined the band. After some discussion around the sound and who would do the vocals Andreas came up with the incredibly good idea to ask TINA GUNNARSSON (Mellow Poetry) if she wanted to sing in the band, She accepted the challenge and after that things really took off.
We have now recorded a new promo-cd in Blueflame Productions and we are eager to send it worldwide to have possibilitys to play live as much as we can.
