20/20 was born Thomas Lee Foutner Jr. on June 4, 1984 in Detroit, Michigan. As a young man early on Thomas found his knack rap, when he started battling against his neighborhood peers it was found that 20/20 emerged from Thomas and the saga of his lyrical journey began.

20/20's incredible wordplay to his killer delivery, 20/20 has got the whole package with a very promising career ahead of him. What sets 20/20 apart is his ability to evolve with hip hop while, maintaining his own lane and not being cliché. Most artists are about one thing, If they’re hardcore that’s what they are. If they’re commercial, they don’t have hood appeal and they get no play with hip hop heads.

20/20 manages to cover all aspects of hip hop without alienating his core fans and he does it well, incorporating rock, R&B and hardcore music. 20/20 states “Simply put I’m a beast“. Born into the hoodest of hoods, 20/20 was raised on Detroit’s eastside. To be exact the 7 mile and van dyke area.

Not the birdman by any stretch of the imagination, 20 spent his teenage years being mentored by some of the east sides most notorious street gangs and o.gs. After several group situations and empty promises 20/20 took to the streets himself with his single “Got Bread”. The single was played on all of Detroit’s major radio stations. What followed next was his more fact than fiction titled mix tape & “My City Screamz. The mix tape was well received by bloggers and music fans alike.

20/20’s “Ambitious and Vicious” debut album is due in June of 2009 which promises to make noise like few independent artist have been able to produce.
