"Letter Of Recommendation"

To Whom It May Concern:
When I first heard from Deuce Eleven for possible booking, I was unsure of the repertoire they so proudly touted. Upon hearing they had worked with greats such as Merle Haggard, Carrie Underwood, and Neal McCoy just to name a few, I was skeptical. After meeting with them I was taken back by their kindness and professionalism as a band. Two of the members came out to my Casino to drop off their demo and press kit which I found to be thorough and very well laid out. They asked questions, were very pleasant to deal with and got familiar with the design of our bar so they would know what equipment to bring.

I have been booking bands for over 2 years now and have found this band to be a thoroughbred with more than enough stamina to fill a much needed niche in my Casino's demographic. They have taken requests, played longer than was necessary and always entertained the crowd. They were never too loud but had a very clean sound and always cleaned up after the gig was over, making my job so much easier.

Due to the immense demand for them by dozens of my guests and employees, I have already booked them back 4 more times this year. I will continue to do business with Shannon and Kelli as long as they are a small enough band for my venue. Although with the capability they possess, I am not sure they are not already too big for my venue. They are a top notch Nashville worthy and traveled band. They know music and they know people. I would recommend them to any bar or casino without hesitation, they will rock the house.

Bio

THE FOUNDING MEMBERS:
Shannon Farmer has been playing professionally since the age of 13, and plays several different musical instruments. Originally from Hobbs, New Mexico, he moved to Nashville in 1994 to pursue his music career, and has since toured with national recording acts such as Billy Joe Royal, Ty England, Doug Stone, and Neal McCoy. Shannon has also been a member of the award-winning country music group Ricochet since 2000, and their hit songs "Daddy's Money," "Love Is Stronger than Pride," and many others have taken them to Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macedonia, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and across the entire US to perform. While he loves Ricochet, he will be leaving in mid-August to devote his full attention to Deuce Eleven & his new Oklahoma family. You can see more about Shannon's career with Ricochet at www.ricochetonline.com

Kelli Doolen Farmer has been performing since the age of 6, and plays several different musical instruments. She was the fiddle player for the Dixie Stampede Theatre in Branson, Missouri, and has performed with country music artists such as Crystal Gayle, John Anderson, Freddie Hart, and David Frizzell. She currently plays fiddle part-time for Johnny Lee, whose hits from the Urban Cowboy era include "Lookin' for Love (In All the Wrong Places)," "Cherokee Fiddle," and many others. Originally from Atoka, Oklahoma, Kelli moved to Tahlequah in 2000 to direct and perform in NSU's Downtown Country. In her time there, she has directed many young talents, including the 2005 American Idol: Carrie Underwood.

AND NOW......DEUCE ELEVEN!
Deuce Eleven was formed in 2006 by Shannon and Kelli (Doolen) Farmer. Before getting married in 2005, Shannon and Kelli had separate professional music careers. After making their home together in Oklahoma, they decided to join forces musically as well. The direction was established: to take their national touring experiences to the regional level and form a tight, well-rehearsed, country dance band that could rival even the national acts. They set out to find the finest musicians Oklahoma had to offer, and DEUCE ELEVEN was born.

Deuce Eleven is more than the average “weekend warrior” band; many rehearsal hours have been spent in critiquing and polishing every aspect of the music—including the four-part harmonies that set this band apart from the pack. Also, the Deuce Eleven play list is unique, reaching back in time to select songs that people love but may have forgotten. “We love seeing people in the audience say, ‘Oh, I haven’t heard that song in a long time…I LOVE it!’ and watching them run for the dance floor,” says front man Shannon Farmer. Deuce Eleven bills itself as a country “dance” band, so seeing a packed dance floor only confirms that a musical void is being filled when this band is on stage.

Deuce Eleven will have your audience reliving good country memories from the 60’s and 70’s,
swingin’ and two-steppin’ to songs of the 80’s and 90’s, singing along with their favorites of today,
and—by the end of the night—rockin’ to America’s favorites. The fun, party atmosphere of Deuce Eleven, teamed up with their unique selection of music and "pro" mentality, make this band one you will want to see again and again!
