Dev Castro

Devon Guidry better known as Dev Castro, was born on July 22nd 1992. He was born in Beaumont,TX but later moved to Houston at the tender age of 11 years old. He attended Wells Middle School, Westfield High School and Lamar Institute of technology. He still resides in Houston,Tx where he pursues his music career. He started rapping at the age of 9 years old but starting taking it more seriously in 2014 after thoughts of his future. As he developed, his very first musical project is on SoundCloud called “Texas State of Mind” and his second called “LateNightDreams”. Since then, he has performed in several college events such as, “Roc the Mic”for Lamar University, University of Houston and Texas Southern University. He has also given back to the communities making visits to Tinsley Elementary Elementary School for the all boys program, “Tinsley Gents” in Houston,TX. Additionally, made contributions for the victims of Hurricane Harvey by providing food, water, and performing for a benefits concert. He recently released his much anticipated album “FromNothin2Somethin Vol.2” on iTunes,Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and iHeartRadio. His music videos such as, “Get It Lit” and “Bag It Up” are on YouTube. He has launched his independent clothing line called “All Or Nothing” in the summer of 2017. As he continues his musical buzz, he his continuously working on new music and excites his fans with more to come.

Also he has toured with the likes Lil Flip, ESG, Yung Al, Layvon, K-Smoove, Young Lyric and more. His last show was in Houston, TX at the Springfest in February 2019 in front of over 2,000 spectators performing his hit singles such as “Run It”, “Numbers”, and “Heavy Pockets”. In addition, he has released his much anticipated video for “Numbers” on YouTube and is now currently working on his highly anticipated EP titled “NO FREE GAME” that will be on music media sights in April 2019.
