Devyce

Devyce

BandRockMetal

Original heavy groove rock... born and raised in the south. No bullshit, no egos, and nothing fake.

Biography

Devyce is instantly set apart from other bands for one thing... THE MUSIC. Unlike other bands who focus on image or cheap gimmicks to get over, Devyce focuses on what should be of primary importance in the first place. Slamming heavy grooves, mixed with fiery lead guitarwork that is almost non-existent amongst bands of today. Added to that vocals and melodies that wouldn't seem out of place at any commercial hard rock radio station. If you are looking for the trendy dj, the trendy rapper, or the trendy overabundance of samples... then by all means move along to the next Limp Bizkit wannabee. Devyce has influences ranging from bands such as Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath, Black Label Society, Danzig, Pantera, and a whole mix of other styles of music such as southern rock, country, and blues. Devyce may well be one of the last heavy guitar driven american rock bands around.... and these guys are more than proud to carry the torch.

Set List

A normal Devyce set can run from 30 minutes (as an opening act) to well over 1 1/2 hours. The band usually sticks to a mix of tracks from the Slowers EP, older crowd favorites, and any new tunes that they may try out. Original music is the primary focus here, but the band has been know to throw in a cover from time to time just for the hell of it.
