Dexter's Diary

Nestled in the heart of Montreal, Canada, this quartet of musical talent met minds in mid 2008. Their union was based on one thing only, music. As all 4 members were experienced in many aspects of the music industry, they incurred knowledge through multiple DYI tours in extremely rough conditions from the outskirts of Milan to the vibrancy of the San Diego music scene. Their determination and talents are both necessary elements to create and exploit the captivating music known today as Dexter’s Diary. The spring of 2010 proved to be the most mentionable of all experiences as Dexter’s Diary got together to track their first demo with well renowned Montreal producer, Gautier Marinof at Piccolo Studios. After a few short sessions, the demo included in this package was produced, mixed and mastered. The band’s incredible acceptance to constructive criticism paid off as the result has been rattling the Montreal music scene since it’s conception.

Two years after this first EP, the band has come up with a lot of new material which they plan to record in 2012. The new songs captivate the energy of the band, with their guitar melodies mixed with power pop that is the signature of the band. Until the recording, Dexter’s Diary keep working the live versions of these songs by presenting as many shows as they can.
