“Exquisitely produced, Deya Dova’s album has a spotlessly clean yet ethereal quality reminiscent of The Knife or Bjork and yet completely, refreshingly, unique."

- IN THE MIX

- AUSPOP BLOGSPOT

"Album Review - 3D Magazine"

"Deya Dova's BURST Album is too impressive not to be mentioned. The singer producer sounds like the love child of an orgy between Fever Ray, Shpongle and Trentemoller." - 3D MAGAZINE

"Album Reveiw - Sydney Star Observer"

"It's fantastic..just may be the weirdest - and best - Aussie release this year! - SYDNEY STAR OBSERVER

"Exodus Cyber Tribal Festival 09"

The festival highlight was the main stage going off to Deya Dova. utterly mesmerizing as she looped her ethereal vocals and harmonised layer after lush layer. ...totally infectious dance beats... the singer seemed possessed by something other worldly. Influences came from indigenous sounds from across the world, tapping into something primal inside us all with the audience swaying to its beauty when not dancing to its energy. The weekend could have ended there and I would have been satisfied.
- Tsunami Magazine

"Printemps De Bourge Festival"

Literally mesmerised we were under the spell of this Australian who doesn’t hesitate to dazzle us with bursts of solo vocalising. Songs that seem to come straight from the Australian desert, which send shivers down your spine and warm your heart and soul.
- Le Berry Republican France

"Jaslyn Hall"

...the songs carry the spirit and sensuality of music that is free and fresh. - Limelight Magazine

"Festival Round Up"

Deya is remarkable because she is totally unique. She seems to draw on a wellspring of musical and cultural ideas which appear to have parallels in a variety of indigenous traditions yet are also part of her very own colorful and rich mythology. Her ability to multi-loop her own voice is something truly wonderful. - Queensland Multi Cultural Festival
