dFekTv is a four piece family band of musicians who decided there were no better people to play and tour with than each other. They are influenced by many styles of music such as pop punk, jazz, old time rock and roll. They believe in the power of community and music, and that this world is a place worth living in, and their music and lyrics reflect all the struggles and joys of being human. The lead singer is an imaginative and creative thirteen year old who has guts and style all her own. Aline loves to write and draw as well as sing, and brings her own flair to all she does. Jacob is the drummer and he goes by the nickname Colonel Zippy. He is a very talented twelve year old who has more energy than New Years Eve fireworks. His sense of humor keeps the band laughing and guessing what will happen next. Kris is the bass player who likes her music to engage people on every level. She strives to make the music enjoyable and real. As well, she lends her creativity to every aspect of the band, including their web site, videos, and t-shirts. The lead guitarist and musical anchor of the group is Loni. His experience both live and in recording sessions keeps the band on track and growing in their musicianship. Together, this family of four very talented people make up a group that is as surprising, fun, and exciting as Christmas morning, but also serious and dedicated to giving the best they can to their fans.
