D’GENERAL is one of Annapolis, Maryland’s best kept secrets. Representing a rare breed of rap lyricism, D’GENERAL brings back the rugged edge the hip hop world has been missing along with r&b and pop. To date, he has shot multiple music videos such as “Let It Go”, a heartfelt rap ballad dedicated to his female fans and proves his mainstream musical diversity, whereas “Heart on My Sleeve” exposes the real life trials and experiences he faced after losing a loved one at a young age.
Performing for nearly seven years and opened up for some major artist with the help of Derrick Williams D’GENERAL plans to take over SUMMER 2011 by dropping numerous singles, music videos and documentaries, and by introducing the world to his brand and team, #SOSALUTE. D’GENERAL is driven by his passion to take over the airways and bring back underground hip hop and rap.
