DIABLO CANYON

DIABLO CANYON was formed in the summer of 2003 bringing together several of the Orlando scene's hardest working club musicians, all who hailed from other experiences in different parts of the country. Michigan native Barry Stone had come to Florida by way of Austin Texas, having toured the midsection of the U.S. for years. He connected with drummer Glenn Davis from Long Island New York and the two performed together years before DIABLO CANYON came together. Founding bassist Bob Shelton from Maryville Tennesee joined the founding lineup along with Orlando Classic Rock radio host "Iron Dave" Adams, who handles lead vocal duties as well as some rhythm guitar work. The lineup is rounded out by Lead and slide guitarist Randall D. Bivin and keyboardist Bob Jones. Together the group has an unmistakeable unique chemistry performing blues based classic southern rock covers, along with dynamic originals and an occasional ramped up country surprise.
