Evolution of an extreme metal band...

Emerging into the Florida death metal community in 1998, Diabolic Intent began their
development process destroying stages across the entire coast of Florida. Their crushing
live shows assaulted the senses and brought high demand for a debut album. In 2001,
Reborn was forged and released into the pits. 2000 limited print copies vanished within
the two years of touring following the release. The Reborn in Chaos tour started in 2000
with Cannibal Corpse and Mastodon in Tallahassee, Florida and spanned two years until
ending in North Carolina co-headlining with Lamb Of God in 2002 at the 1st Annual
Snakenet Metalnation Fest.

After a short break to slim down the lineup, Diabolic Intent decided to take on
censorship. To counter piracy, the FCC (Forcing Censored Content) EP was released via the
internet for free in 2004. Cover art and all in a zip file or separate downloads. The
album received well over 10,000 downloads from the DI server. It is in strong circulation
in the p2p file sharing domain and has received numerous great reviews from many wide
reader base fanzines. The EP is still offered for free download.

2005 was a challenging year for DI, they needed to be one step out above the rest amidst
a seas of talented bands in the world. Taking the direction of the band into a focused
element, Diabolic Intent started writing their second full length, The Cold Path Of Man.
A well crafted, no boundaries extreme metal album lyrically focused on scientific
evolution and the proven non existence of divine creation or even a god at all. A warm up
tour is played to road test the new material. During this time, Dark Angel Project
selects DI as the one band that is granted a production deal, starting with the newly
written album.

Feb 2006, Diabolic Intent steps out onto South African soils, in the place where
evolutionist say life began so billions of years ago. It is here in the city of gold
called Johannesburg, where DI spent 19 days recording and focusing on their inner beliefs
amongst the lands of old, living and breathing their new album with Dark Angel herself
producing and Leanne Warren from the UK co-producing. The production has a very unique
and solid mix unheard of in any of the existing extreme metal. By breaking the standards
with two females, producing and mixing a US extreme metal band. This is diversity at its
best. Videos are being released for the entire album as well. The new cd is available
earily 2007. Diabolic Intent is looking for the proper label for signing or US licensing

More dates TBA. Radio play is already global with station from Chicago to Miami and from
Poland to China The intent is spreading to the nations. Diabolic Intent is passport ready
and anticipating the tours.
