Diamond Dream is an alternative rock band from Montreal, influenced by The Beatles, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, The Pixies... The band began in 1998 when Devens and Phil met. They were later joined by Zvonimir who brough his originality to the band. They played a couple of gigs and recorded a Demo, but some problems made the band stall and eventually break up.
It's in 2002 that Louis-Philippe joined as the new bassist. They now all had acquired more experience and were ready to pursue their musical goals. Diamond Dream entered a period of intense production. They came up with more songs and did more shows which eventually led to the recording of the "Out of Seat" CD. As they acquired a fan base which keeps growing, they made it to the semi-finals of the Emergenza music festival.
The band is now still composing new songs and will begin a tour around may 2005. They are also planning on recording their second album in New York which should be available afterwards.
