Bio

Diamond Joe Siddons one of the Singer/Guitarist/songwriters that came out the Austin Texas music scene in the '70s early '80s. He quickly earned a reputation as a bad ass guitarist and dynamic wild man on stage. Joe played with many of the now famous musicians around Austin then, Stevie Ray Vaughan, W. C. Clark, Joe Ely and many others. After recording 3 records and wanting to get out of what then seemed like a small pond Joe moved NYC. In New York he continued to perform with greats like Lisa Lowell, Felix Cabrera, Wayne Kramer, Authur Nielson just to name a few but Joe would decide he would not be satisfied as a sideman and go back to fronting his own band again. The result is 2 very successful Cds "Wasted Dayze and Twisted Nights" '05 and "Smokin' In Public--The Nyc Allstars" Featuring Joe ,Matt Smith and Felix Cabrera. With domestic and European Airplay and being featured on several syndicated Radio shows Joe has been exposed to millios of fans. His '05 release is still in the top 20 on many collage and commercial FM stations. If you have ever read either one of the SRV biographies you know about Joe and his friendship with Stevie. The Weinstien Bros. Flims has bought the movie rights and the movie will be this year or next. Joe has developed in to great songwriter and his songs are being recorded my many artist. Joe performs his originals which range form Texas roots rock/blues/jazz but his personal sound is always identifiable. Joe has always been a Guitarist Guitarist and a house on fire in concert.
