Bio
Bartyce Colbert, a native of Macon Ga, now resides in the Atlanta area. She has worked as a background vocalist for different artists as well as opened for gospel artists. Bartyce has worked as a demo artist for clear channel communications and feature for the Atlanta Symphony. Bartyce is a member of Word Alive Ministries International under the leadership of Apostle Jimmy Lott and Prophetess Dianne Lott. She also serves as armor bearer for the first lady and is a prayer warrior.
Jamie Perez was born in Augusta ga, but now resides in the Atlanta area. Jamie was raised in the Church of God in Christ where she worked and learned under many well known gospel artists. Having a love for music her entire life she has both taught and served in choirs since the age of 10. Jamie has been a wedding singer, demo singer, as well as a song writer. She currently attends Word Alive Ministries where she serves as Minister of Music and her husband is the Assistant Pastor.
In the beginning of 2010 after much prayer, Bartyce and Jamie came together to form Diamond Praise. Diamond Praise is an up and coming Gospel duo with a jazzy, urban contemporary sound. These are ladies are excited about spreading the word of God through music.
