Freddy the Teddy is a bedtime (or anytime) story and song CD for children 3 to 9 years of age. Freddy is a friendly little teddy bear with a winning personality. He and his friends have a delightful time and provide a warm and loving romp for a young child. The CD comes with a snuggly Freddy bear.

Biography

Auntie Diana invented Freddy the Teddy to entertain her young niece. Freddy was so successful, he developed into a CD project, and now is the first of many more Freddy the Teddy CDs. Influences include Carroll, Disney, Carlo Collodi, Mark Twain, Grimm & Anderson, et al.
What sets Freddy apart is, there is no "edge" - this is truly written for young children; however, the children are not "written down to" in any way. Occasional big words surface and hopefully will stretch the imagination or at least raise a question.
Diana has had a lot of experience working with children, as an elementary school music teacher, a camp counsellor, and an editor of children's educational books.
She also cowrote songs and score for Rudoph and the Misfit Toys (film), Little Red (film), and songs for musicals presented at Hershey Park. She has music directed many children's shows, including improvised children's shows for the Proposition in New York City and Boston.
"The great thing about kids", Diana thinks, "is that they instinctively know what's good and what's in your heart - they have a good instinct for the real, as opposed to the phony."
Diana is presently living and writing in Los Angeles; the sun is shining, the pool is heated, and all is right with the world!
