He is my hiding place, my shelter from the storm, and on the coldest night, He's the candlelight, that keeps me warm,that keeps me warm. So goes the first few lines of the song, "Candlelight," the Lord gave me a few years ago. How well the words apply to what Jesus has been all these years in my life and continues to be even as I grow older. My heart's desire since probably about the age of twelve has been to sing and minister for the Lord. I have ministered in many different places over the years including churches, schools, prisons, nursing homes, radio, tv, revivals, and anywhere else there was an open door. I feel the Lord is saying to me to expand my borders and go beyond where I have been. I truly believe this is a principle of the Lord for our all lives to continually be growing and becoming better for Him and His calling.
I recorded my first project, "One Glimpse of The Son", a few years ago but at the time was teaching and taking care of my elderly grandmother. Within two weeks I retired and my granny as I called her passed away. I believe all of this was my planning stage and waiting period before my ministry would bloom to it fullest.
My husband Jim and I were married in 1993.
We were late bloomers as I like to joke as far as marriage was concerned. Neither of us had been married before. We are very happy after spending most of our adult lives without each other. He is very supportive of my ministry and encourages me to follow the Lord's leading.
We reside in Columbus, Georgia and attend Wynnbrook Baptist Church. Other hobbies beside songwriting and singingare writing children stories and religious poetry.

The scripture tells us, "I know the plans I have for you," the Lord says. I am eagerly awaiting what He has in store around the bend.
