Dibashi Ray started out in music by getting up in front of his church when he was just two years old. Ray’s mother Ora Harris attended both Southwestern , and Wayland Baptist University where she graduated in 1991. Harris taught music for several years, and is currently an elementary school teacher in the Midland/Odessa area. Ray was a standout basketball player at Plainview High school where he helped the Bulldogs win a state title in 1994. Ray attended college at the University of Missouri where he played basketball, and followed in his mothers footsteps by majoring in Education. Ray returned to Plainview as an assistant basketball coach for the Plainview Bulldogs, and is currently the assistant basketball coach for Brazoswood High School. Ray started writing songs in 1999, and decided to pursue music more heavily. In 2001 he recorded several songs with Corey “Tramp Capone” Scales who is also a Plainview native and the owner of Breakaway Pictures. In 2002 he joined forces with Kaotic, and was with Texas Twister Productions until 2005. In 2006 Dibiashi was introduced to Mista Nite a.k.a Tony Kalhoun “The Boss” currently of Dawgtown Productionz through a mutual friend and Plainviewan Shawn Roberts . Over the next five years Ray continued to work diligently in the studio around his schedule as a basketball coach would allow. In 2009 Ray was part of Dawgtown Productionz “Texas Finest” album release in April of 2009. Ray, Roberts, and The Boss formed Blokka Squad Family. August 13,2011 Ray released his debut solo album entitled “Born Sing’n” on which he was the executive producer.
