Bio

As founding member and leader of the legendary Cleavers, one of the best cover bands in Chicagoland, Eastman has had twelve years of musical dates under his belt - playing country clubs, festivals, conventions and even opening for The Three Dog Night - a classic rock night!

Now he has pared down the equipment but not the authentic classic pop sound. His guitar and vocals capture the essence of some of the greatest classic pop/rock songs ever written.

Dick Eastman also has had a remarkable career as a published songwriter in his own right. As a staff songwriter for MCA Music in the '80s, Eastman has written tunes with legendary hit-maker Bobby Hart that were recorded by the Monkees, the New Edition, Robbie Nevil and many others.

Dick Eastman continues writing songs - and when he's not writing, he's entertaining audiences throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin with note-to note renditions of the greatest '60s and '70s hits!
