Diego

Diego is a power-trio whose music is soaked in the loose, gritty, drifty vibe of Neil Young's early 70's L.A. scene, along with a mix of garage-rock, alt-country and British Invasion-era influences.

Their explosive sound is replete with powerful hooks, driving rhythms, scorching blues-rock guitar solos, heart-worn vocal harmonies, and a lyrical vocabulary that dwells in zones of betrayal, redemption and blues-rooted human connections, though never straying far from the more humurous currents of life.

Guitarist/vocalist Rich Hoffay, drummer/vocalist Don Ackerman and bassist Roger Noyes all hail from New York's Capital Region, but the band's real musical home is farmyard barn in West Sand Lake where Diego writes much of it's material, hashes out song arrangements and records.
