Diesel Trukkers evolved in a three car garage in Seattle where neighbors were brewing up biodiesel alongside of the early sessions in 2005, hence the name. Diesel Trukkers are a power trio consisting of Mychael VanEngelen on electric guitar, Skin Richards on drums, and Mike 'Leon' Young carrying the bass. The Trukkers have played a variety of venues around the Seattle area such as The Tractor, Jazzbones, The Swiss, Hi-Dive, and Fenders to name a few. The Trukkers have sculpted a unique sound that dives into swamp blues, southern slide and classic rock. Highly energetic, loose and gritty rock 'that rolls' is the goal, with a good time to be had by all.
