Biography

Originally formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1997 by original members Erv Felker, Mike Armstrong and Seattle transplant Buz Ras, Difuser got it's start as a youthful angst driven hard hitting grunge band. Difuser dominated the Tulsa local rock scene in the late 90's playing everywhere in town and surrounding areas including many shows at the historic Cain's Ballroom, opening for surf rock legend Dick Dale, and even playing a Beatles tribute show on top of the Music Sound Warehouse during a winter storm.

A decade or so years, three studio albums and seven drummers later Erv and Mike are now joined by Matt Galloway. While their hard hitting grunge roots are still plainly evident, Difuser's sound has broadened and deepened with age drawing on influences from surf rock, post-punk, new wave, early and classic rock. At the end of the day, it's all just rock-n-roll.

Some of Difuser's primary influences include The Who, Nirvana, The Pixies, Echo and The Bunnymen and Dick Dale.

Difuser's catalog includes over 3 hours of all original material. Difuser is available for booking for shows from 30 minutes to 3+ hours in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Stillwater, Norman, Dallas, Kansas City, Lawrence or pretty much anywhere within a 5 or 6 hour driving radius from Tulsa.
