Dima Mirnyi

Hi!My name is Dima Mirnyi and I was born in Moscow Russia.I started to play guitar when I was 12 or 13 after watching a movie Hancock.At those time I did not know what blues music is because in Russia its not very popular and when I heard a beauty sound of harmonica in the beginnig of the film, I thought '' yeah thats what i want to do in my life''.Then I came back home and picked up my guitar and started to learn music from Robert Johnson and upper upper and upper. I graduated a music school, and then i was really ispired by John Mayer and his blues pop stuff(actually i learned about Berklee because of John Mayer)but anyway now I'm 18 nd peforming in night clubs in Moscow and writing songs.Funny thing about it that I can't write lyrics on russian, I don't know why is that, but I can write only on english.I really want to have experience in Berklee especially in songwriting and singing, because I always thought that first of all I'm a guitar player.And now it's time to express myself and feelings through the music!
