Bio
Founded in 2005, many of the members of Dime A Dozen met at a coffee house on the Northwest side of Chicago. As regular members of Tuesday night's open mic night, they recognized each others talents and decided to form a band. With Rick Wells' sultry voice and a rockin horn section they found immediate success. They added a rhythm section and took the show on the road. Fans often comment on the extreme talent in the group as many of the band members play several instruments. Dime A Dozen plays musical styles including Motown, Blues, and Classic Rock from 60's through today. They have been known to cover your favorite songs from groups such as The Commitments, The Beatles, Chicago, Temptations, The Eagles, Collective Soul, Dave Matthews Band as well as play some great originals!
