Dim of the Yard was formed in late 2003 after the break up of Andrew, Diego and Mark's former band.Our music since then has evolved from more metal influences to more punk/ambient/electronica influences.Music has always been our lives and we would do anything just to play a show.Andrew and Diego are brothers of German/Peruvian decend and have been musicians since their early lives.Marcus Doornbosch is originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Florida a while back.He has a complete schooling in recording arts at Full Sail in Orlando.Mark Carreon is from Canada and originally a guitar player, but due to circumstance an excellent bass player for Dim of the Yard.We have played venues only in Tampa so far which include the Brass Mug, the Mascarades, Pegasus lounge and Gasoline alley.We always strive to write music that is different from whats out there, yet staying true to our roots.Our main Band influences are Bands such as The Foo Fighters, The Mars Volta, Incubus, Smashing pumpkins and Portishead
