The best kept secret in music

"Twenty Four Seven (24/7) - Review"

Because it is my policy to review at least three tracks, I asked Dino for another select song to enjoy. Even though the focus is “Play That Funky Music”, he was gracious enough to send over this excellent track titled “Twenty Four Seven.” The track puts the man in a different light and shows him as very capable song crafter with quite a voice and the ability to carry some nice smooth rhythms along to the music. I am glad I had a chance to hear this song as well because now I know that there is a lot more to this artist than reworking a tune to fit the club scene, which is fine, but this puts him into an entirely different category after hearing “Twenty Four Seven.” I would love to hear more songs like that. When I listen to the song each time I think of it as a hit single, the same with “Play That Funky Music,” I think it would fly. - Keith “MuzikMan’ Hannaleck

"Shine A Light (aka Moon Beams)"

I have hooked up with the incredible Dino Jag… Dino has a real gift for mixing and is one talented singer songwriter. - Barry Crocker (Singer / Actor)

"Hurt Myself"

It’s great… it’s really a trip to hear someone taking a different take on your tune & get a whole different angle on it, it’s awesome! I’m really digging all the new treatments. Special thanks to Dino for keeping the beat! - Rusty Anderson (guitarist for Sir Paul McCartney band)

"She's a Mod"

Dino has brought this track into the new millennium. - Ray Columbus

"Blue Pie Productions"

Dino is one amazing artist… Dino has one of the most gifted voices in the country and his production skills are already receiving world wide critical acclaim. This year is set to see the world stand up and take note of the man from the South… South Australia that is.

- Damien Reilly (CEO)

"Play That Funky Music"

Man, this thing tore up the dance floor in the 70s. Your energy with this version will probably push people all the way to the basement! - Kenny Love (President, MuBiz.Com)

“Dino Jag is multi-dimensional and has proven that he is more than an artist who can only create radio favorites.” Band Blurb

A South Australian treasure and quickly becoming a recognised name in the international music world, his new EP “Breakthrough” is scheduled for release in November 2016.  Recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood with Grammy Award Winning Producer Jeff Bova at the helm and featuring musicians, Aaron Sterling (Drums - John Mayer), Corey Britz (Bass - Bush), Tim Pierce (Guitar - Bruce Springsteen), Jeff Bova (Keyboards - Michael Jackson), Carroll Hatchet (Backing Vocals - Bette Midler) & Bernard Fowler (Backing Vocals - The Rolling Stones), it is set to be a major milestone in Dino's career.

The first single off the EP “Two Young Hearts” was awarded second place at the 2016 International Unsigned Music Awards. Selected from over 6,000 entries, the winners represent some of the best unsigned artists worldwide. “You Make Me Feel So Good” has now been released as the second single off the EP and is already receiving rave reviews around the world.

“It’s very rare one song is packed with so much energy and delicious morsels of aurally stimulating goodness.” Joshua Smotherman – MIDTNMUSIC.com

Dino first launched onto the international music arena in 2005 with his unique cover of the 70’s classic, “Play that Funky Music.” The song burned up the charts worldwide, reaching number 8 in Australia and number 34 in Denmark and hit many radio playlists.

Dino Jag hit the international spotlight with the release of his song “Calling All The Saints” breaking all records to become the #1 most purchased song on the “Music For Good” program for Oxfam America. With over 3,500 artists from around the world represented on the chart this was quite an achievement and a great testament to his songwriting ability.

“His voice isn't unlike a harmony between Adam Levine and Chris Martin which is a great thing.” Daniel Davidson-Amadi, Music News

He has shared the stage with some heavy hitters in the industry including, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Adelaide & Queensland Symphony Orchestras, James Morrison, Steve Vai (David Lee Roth / Whitesnake), Richard Max, Daryl Braithwaite and Ian Moss.

His vocal ability, songwriting flare and production style have also given Dino the opportunity to work on recording projects with Rusty Anderson (Paul McCartney Band), Ray Columbus (NZ), Alan Gorrie (Average White Band), Mark King (Level 42), Carmen Grillo (Tower Of Power) and even Australian icon Barry Crocker!

Nominated “Best Male Vocalist” for three consecutive years at the South Australian Music Industry Awards (SAMIA) while fronting Adelaide funk/rock band Stolen Waters who entered the national charts with their reworking of the Stevie Wonder classic “Superstition.”

Dino embraces music to his very core and continues to shape his career whilst exploring new sounds in his own electrifying way.

"His exuberant energy comes pouring through his music.. Look out for Dino Jag as he gets set to hit the worldwide stage!” Jordannah Elizabeth, VZ Magazine
