Recently he had a triumphal concert at the international scene of the prestigious Bridgewater Hall (Manchester, England). He has performed many times in International Festivals, such as the "Kiev Summer Music Evenings, in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz", "Ameropa" 2001 & 2002 in Prague, "Euro-Silesia" 2003 in Poland under the Artistic Direction of Kurt Mazur and "Pristina International Chamber Music Festival" (Kosovo), to name a few. A graduate of Athens Conservatory (Aliki Vatikioti's class) with the highest honours, he has also studied with the famous Bulgarian couple Konstantin & Julia Ganev (students of Heinrich Neuhaus), and especially with one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century, the Brazilian Roberto Szidon (student of Claudio Arrau and Artur Rubinstein). Regarded for his rich and multi-sided technique, artistic temperament, perfect feeling of the rhythm and rare expressiveness Dino Mastroyiannis is also one of the most gifted chamber-musicians and an exceptional vocal collaborative pianist. He is regarded as one of the most prominent performers of Greek music and has a very special relationship with the Piano Concerto of Mikis Theodorakis, which he interprets as a soloist with leading orchestras in a unique performing way. He has accepted enthusiastic written comments from the composer himself, expressing Mr. Mastroyiannis' deep musical and absolutely "Greek approach" of this work: "your new interpretation of my Piano Concerto, totally justifies my first impression of your magnificent and inspired approach to my work".

Recently Dino Mastroyiannis performed the world-premiere of Mikis Theodorakis' Piano Concerto "Helikon', which was lost and forgotten for forty four years, even by the composer himself. This breathtaking concert took part in Finland with the Mikkeli City Orchestra. Mikis Theodorakis chosen Dino Mastroyiannis for the premiere, as the ideal interpreter of this music.

Roberto Szidon had described Mr. Mastroyiannis as "one of the eminent Greek pianists" and Paul Badura-Skoda had written that "his technical and musical abilities are up to an international level".
