Dinosaur Petshop are Jason 'Baby Bird' Grant and Deen O'Saurus. Thier music is stripped down, raw, melodic loud rock. They met originally at a party and the two immediately hit it off over a mutual love of Sonic Youth and Nirvana. Since then the two have expanded thier musical horizons and made the decision to start a band together. The two based thier music around the idea: if you wouldn't listen to your music why would you bother? Thier shows are renowned for being raw, loud and very much energetic. Thier proudest moment was being told at a gig that "I never knew two people could sound that loud". With Deens pounding drums and Jason's roaring guitar Dinosaur Petshop are a band that don't ask for your attention, but grab it by the throat and demand it! - Waterford Today
