Directions is a brand new band from Phoenix, Arizona. With former members from Sound the City, Directions brings the Rock 'n' Roll aspect as well as the Pop/Rock influence. Launching their newly formed band in October 2010 after recording two songs with producer Max Coane(The Rocket Summer, Jack's Mannequin, Courage Calls), they are hitting the road hard in 2011. With multiple tours already under their belt, Directions is heading out on the road for a West Coast tour in January.
Directions sheds a new light on the Desert Rock genre. With the over saturation of Pop bands in Arizona, Directions is bringing back the Rock. Michael's (lead vocalist) lower register voice casts them apart from other bands and gives them a more soulful feel to the music. With influences ranging from Muse to Frank Sinatra, Directions has a lot in their repertoire. Only having two songs recorded, they plan on going back into the studio in January and finishing their EP of 6 more songs.
Directions is coming out swinging in 2011, and will be touring most of the upcoming year.
