Bio

Formed in 2007 around the songwriting partnership of singer/guitarists Danger Alexander and Heath Brady, Dirt River Radio are a Melbourne based four piece steeped in country and blues with a rock 'n' roll pedigree.

Utilising the warmth of hollow body guitars and harmonica, the thrust of the band is their heartfelt song writing from the personal experiences that only real life and an articulate sense of self can bring, whether its from traveling through El Paso or living in a semi demolished apartment in Richmond.

If you are looking for polished pop or if you want to see four pretty looking, well groomed, choreographed boys play songs to brush your teeth too, DRR are not it. These boys are rough, real, true to their craft and the tradition of their influences.

Their debut extended play EP release, Come Back Romance, All Is Forgiven, featuring the lead song Devil On The Road is a fitting introduction into the recording industry for these young men.

Whether you love them or hate them, one thing is for certain, Dirt River Radio are the truth.
