It's out there... past the city lights, after the last darkened gas station sign. You have to leave the pavement behind, but you'll find it. You can follow the trail of cheap beer cans thrown from car windows. The faint music that seems to be coming from the tail lights that seem so far away. Do you remember feeling invincible? Do you remember believing you could fly? Do you remember Rock'n'Roll? If you've been missing it, we have a little story to tell you...  

Dirt Road Logic was formed in April of 2005 from the ashes of country/roots bands Eric Kelly and the Dirty Johns, and American Cosmos.
In that short amount of time they have played shows all over the Midwest, including opening shows for Shooter Jennings, Jessica Andrews, Bobby Pinson, and the Deadstring Brothers.
Dirt Road Logic’s debut recording Great Lake Heartache is currently being recorded at Big Sky Studios in Ann Arbor. It will be released on Embassy Hotel Records in March of 06.

For DRL, a small town Michigan upbringing is worn like a badge….a reminder of more simple time. This is honest, original, roots based rock-n-roll.
