The Dirty Demographic warm up onlookers with upbeat tunes infused with pop disco riffs and vocal melodies.
As they progress through their setlist it’s apparent that pianist and vocalist Angus steals the show injecting the audience with his animated performance and musical enthusiasm. - Rave Child (Music Blog)
Running flat wasn’t going to happen to Angus Munro (escaping tonight from The Dirty Demographic with only a keyboard and a bow tie to keep the cold out). Spinning his musical yarn with the poise that you would expect of a man thoroughly trained in the ways of such things, Mr Munro showed that it is all in the breeding. After all, you can’t really do a song called “Porn” without humour and the balance that comes with confidence and practice and yet still manage to avoid pigeonholing. I think the actual word I am looking for is clever. Angus Munro was indeed that. - Bluesbunny Independent Music
The Dirty Demographic, tonight’s penultimate act, seems to have bought an enthusiastic crowd of local fans with them, and quickly justify the gusto. Blending jazz with infectious pop hooks, and smiling the night away, The Dirty Demographic are spiced up with co-ed vocals. They bring together a flamboyant selection of tracks that sample from both The Calling and Louis Armstrong, a fair indication of their blended influences... lead vocalist Angus is the very definition of geek cool. - State Magazine
