Their sound recognizes their rock roots while maintaining a progressive attitude towards the music they make. Their last song demonstrated this perfectly. The song was an inspired instrumental post-rock masterpiece, perfectly composed and played with heart. Their set had just enough attitude to remind the listener that, hey, rock isn't dead.

Dirty Deville, a band forged in the basement of a dirty, smelly, old house, has been working relentlessly since 2009 to craft their own, unique, brand of rock and roll. Originally formed as a reggae/rock outfit Dirty Deville has found their own sound as a spaced-out, psychedelic, stoner-rock group. Armed with out-front guitars drenched in overdrive, big driving drums, fat bottomed, fuzzed out, bass lines, and a love for live performance, the Dirty Deville boys work hard to fight against the homogenized brand of rock and roll that has become the norm these days.
The key to the band's special sound is the eclectic line-up of dirt-ball musicians that make up the band's core. Frontman Adam Snyder is a roots-minded guitarist/vocalist with an interesting take on the blues and folk-rock sound. The man behind the drum kit, Steve Hirst, is a metal-head at heart, bringing driving rhythm and tasteful grooves to the mix. Lead guitarist Dan Seling is the resident jam-band and prog-rock enthusiast constantly striving (albeit unsuccessfully, for the most part) to extend every song into a twenty-minute noodle session. Tom Neil is the resident "indie-rock dude", in the band. His melodic and harmony-conscious bass playing as well as his love for fuzzed-out bass sounds brings about a low end that you can feel deep in your chest. These forces work together to restore the world's faith in rock music. One dark, smelly, bar at a time. Stay Dirty.
