Kenneth “Biz AKA DirtyHarvard” McKenzie, is a authentic leader of urban Los Angeles hip-hop music and culture scenes,
Biz' DHVRD turned to music at age of 12, finding salvation in playing drums as a means to escape a childhood in which lead to him being part of a foster care system, saved by his grandparents. “The blocks of South Central can be quicksand for young black men, as our parents came up during the Crack Era and resorted to prostitution and other vices to feed their drug habit,” Biz' DHVRD says. “I knew that music would allow me to focus and push something to the world that was as authentic as Tupac Shakur's movement.”
While he literally looks and moves like the late Tupac Shakur, Biz' DHVRD's ultimate goal is to continue to build on the powerful legacy of those before him in the hip-hop culture by bringing his sound and style to the culture, Dirty Harvard has one sole mission: To serve as a reminder to audiences worldwide that American civil life is as diverse as its urban population.
Biz' DHVRD is also accompanied by band members Rix and Jonney and their works are as dynamic as the hip-hop culture itself. DHVRD musical sound is highly unique and engaging for music lovers. The band is prepping the release of new UNIVERSITY album set to drop Febuary 28th 2018
