Belive me you've never heard anything like this before!!!
Blending dirty south crunkness, east coast lyricism, west coast hypyness with that Midwest street flow To create the signature sound that he calls the 'High Octain Movement'.
Based in Detroit, Mi home to the Motown sound and big three automakers.
He was influenced by these big sounds and even bigger cars at a early age, Raised in Detroit, Pontiac an Grand Rapids Mi, where he was very much involved, in the street life an Hip Hop culture of these citys
After years of pushing his demos to record labels, all of them to no avail.
he realized that the only way to break into the industry was to create his own lane. That idea was the birth of Doggwood Records/Productions. And at this present time the seeds of this mental plant is starting to grow into a physical movement.
With production credits on over 200 albums local to regional, he will continue to grow as a producer, artist an businessman in 2007.
The name 'Dirtyilla' comes from 'Dirty Illpatrick' in honor of Detroit's mayor Kwame Killpatrick, and famed producer J Dilla.
He started with the 'King of the Midwest' thing a year ago after realizing nobody was repping the region like that. Not to take credit away from anybody or their contributions to the cause.
Even are biggest stars Eminem, Kid Rock, Trick Trick, or Obie Trice only mention Detroit, not the whole region.
So he took it opun himself to put this region on his back, an be what "TI" and his "Grand Hustle" Records are to the south. That is to be a leader, a innovater and a bridge for the midwest.
The Doggwood Gang is his Army of mc's, producers, singers, models an writers. He believes there is a power in numbers that create's an immediate impact for the movement.
If you are ready to join a group of progressive people, then reach out in touch him. He is always avaliable Whether you live in Alabama or New York, but wanna do shows and sell cd's in Michigan. Then join the Doggwood Gang, Not for a record deal but for connections all over the world that will have your back.
In January he formed Doggwood Records South with business partner David Jackson in Bruinswick, Georgia.
The first Releases will be Yung Zeek and Profit and the fall of '07.
On March first Doggwood Records/Productions will be releasing the 'Dirtyilla' 'King of the Midwest' mixtape, with the album 'Getting Dirty Dollaz wit Dirty Work' avaliable June 14th 2007.
