Bio
Dirty Mother Nation came together in the fall of 2003 and quickly began developing a name for themselves on the local rock scene. Originally the brainchild of brothers Matt and Dan Douglas, the bands sound was filled out by guitarist Paul Lucenti and vocalist Lonny Friedland in the fall of 2003.
After a short incubation period, the band began taking their high-energy, melodic songs to the stage. Practically overnight, the band established a solid fan-base of devotees. It isnt uncommon to hear the crowd singing along to all of the songs at a Dirty Mother Nation show.
At this point, the band has been playing gigs locally, regionally and abroad for the past three years. Their high-profile shows include a headlining slot at CBGBs and a short tour of Brazil, culminating in a live TV performance. Recently, the band has released a three song demo and added guitarist Sean Kerrigan . Dirty Mother Nation is a rising force to be reckoned with on the New York rock scene. Come and find out why.
