Feeling a bit camera shy

We all come from Humboldt County, CA. Inspired by Dirty Rat Records founder and godfather, Sonny Wong, Franco and Kush began freestyling and writing in high school and continued on through college. Franco has taken his incredible freestyle skills into the battle arena, placing third at 2004 Scribble Jam and winning many other competitions. Callous has been writing poetry for years, but didn't start writing lyrics and rapping until college. We all graduated and decided to devote our time solely to music and the perfection of our craft. Stir Fry Willie started out as a drummer in a punk band, but has since written rhymes and made artwork for the group. Influences in rap consist of both old and new school artists, such as Rakim and KRS-ONE, as well as Heiroglyphics and Living Legends. In general, influencesl come from all genres of music and art forms. We are influenced by anything and everything, and we incorporate all this into our writing in many different ways. Ultimately, however, we prefer to let our music speak for itself.
