Bio

Dreaming In Stereo is the combined vision of four similarly different artists who want to share their music with the world.

The four musicians who make up Dreaming In Stereo all have very extensive resumes, to say the least. Each has played in at least 3 touring acts before they turned 21. One of them isn't even 21 yet. These musicians have been at it since very early in their lives and all are multi-instrumentalists.

Fernando Perdomo is a respected session player in South Florida who has worked with artists as varied as Cristian Castro, Jennifer Lopez, Play, Alih Jey and countless others. He was also in the successful bands The Avenging Lawnmowers Of Justice, Transcendence and The Spam All-Stars. He has played shows opening for Cheap Trick, Bonnie Raitt, Everclear, Def Leppard and No Doubt.

Chris Price has worked in the studio with Jose Feliciano, Christina Aguilera and many others. He played keyboards and sung in the very popular jam band Jerrods Door through which he has opened for Jimmy Page, Ray Manzarek, Richie Havens, The Wailers, Cake, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Blues Traveler, Bob Weir & Ratdog, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Legendary Pink Dots and literally hundreds more.

Father Bloopy played in the succesful rock act Transcendence through which he's been all over the country as well as countless other South Florida bands. In addition, Bloopy has been running his own "underground" label, Dippy Records, since 2000; overseeing over 30 releases from a wealth of different artists, including solo releases.

Derek Cintron's band DC-3 has garnered a huge following in the South Florida area and has recieved much critical acclaim, being named "Best Hard Rock Act" in the 2002 Florida Music Awards and also having the album "oh...the drama" named Best Rock Album in the 2001 Best Of South Florida awards in the New Times.

All four members of Dreaming In Stereo have played together for several years in different bands and on different sessions. Each contributed to the others' solo projects. One day they decided to put their heads together and take on the world as a single unit. The boys debuted Dreaming In Stereo in New York at CBGB's Gallery to great fanfare and acclaim. They returned to their hometown of Miami and recieved great recognition on the local circuit, playing all the best clubs and earning new fans every night.

Their influences are wide ranging and cover various genres. The band draws their creativity from The Beatles, The Kinks, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Badfinger, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Led Zeppelin, Nick Drake, Traffic, The Band, Al Green, Van Morrison, Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, John Cale, Sly & The Family Stone, Randy Newman, Joni Mitchell and thousands more.

Dreaming In Stereo, the name, came in a dream. Dreaming In Stereo, the band, resides in South Florida. It is here in the sun drenched, hot bodied Sunshine State world, that Dreaming In Stereo makes plans for 2005 and beyond.
