The best kept secret in music

Disciples Peak, a Christian Rock band from Battle Creek, Michigan played at our baseball facility after the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays vs. West Michigan Whitecaps game on Sunday, June 12, 2005.

Even though Disciples Peak is young and full of energy, the band was always prompt and courteous when dealing with our organization or the media. They were also a good draw for area youth groups as nearly 400 area youth attended the game and post-game Christian concert on June 12 at CO Brown Stadium.

Being a former professional musician myself, I would definitely work with Disciples Peak again and look forward to our next event. Furthermore, I recommend them to other organizations looking to produce a great music concert event.

If you have any other questions or concerns please call me at 269-660-2287 or email me at mcordaro@southwestmichigandevilrays.com.

Disciples Peak is an amazing young band which we had play at a youth event. Brandon's statement on their website "to give God glory" touched my heart. That is exactly what they did-- gave God glory. Disciples Peak Rocked the House for Jesus!

Thank you guys-
You're Awesome

Thank you for coming to Velocity and our Student Center last Saturday! You guys have a great energy and passion about your band and we had a great time sharing that with you! I was very impressed with how professional you all were and the way in which you came in, set up, and performed. It was a great night and I thought you all have a solid stage presence that engages the crowd and keeps them involved. I pray that God continues to shape and direct you over the years to come and trust that He has awesome things in store for all of you (Eph 2:10)! Looking forward to having you return on March 18, 2006.

Thanks again,
Brian Bennett

DP’s debut promo CD entitled OUR FEEBLE ATTEMPT TO SAVE THE WORLD contains five exciting new songs fresh from their September 2005 studio effort. The songs are: Our feeble attempt to save the world, The reason for my high school phobia, Not alone, and Falling. DP began in 2003 with the vision of creating a band with good clean lyrics and a positive message. "Their message is strong," said recording engineer Kerry Johnson, "and their vocals are way beyond their years."

Feeling a bit camera shy

Groups like Reliant K and Five Iron Frenzy have greatly influenced DP style and love for Jesus. Penetrating lyrics with strong harmonies rip into your soul like a two edged sword. Although naturally appealing to youth, they are easily loved by all who come to hear them. "Their music and testimony touched people," wrote one promoter. "It was a pleasure having them..."
