Discovenant

Initial writing began for Discovenant in 2005 between guitarist/vocalist Kyle Halldorson, and bassist/vocalist Gerrit Delaquis. It was almost two full years of writing, and perfecting written songs between Kyle and Gerrit. All while going through many unsuccessful drummer tryouts until Edward Oakes responded to an ad in 2007. The boys met up the following day and it was an instant realization. Since then they've played several shows and altered their direction and sound with a large respect for 70's prog rock and funk melody, while maintaining hard rock/metal intensity. Not withstanding other genres influences. Discovenant is a band of perfectionists and has since improved greatly since the previous recordings. The boys are ready for some recognition.
