DJ MindCell (Producer/Songwriter/DJ) is a Milwaukee, WI native who now calls Tucson, AZ home.
He started an indie studio as a hobby back in high school and over the years has produced projects for independent artists and bands, including his own, from the Midwest to the Southwest.
Among his favorite artists are Depeche Mode, Maktub, Van Hunt, Alicia Keys, Portishead and Prince.
Pijii (Singer/Songwriter) hails from Arkansas, but like DJ MindCell, is at home in the desert. She has been busy writing material for various Tucson singers and musicians but has rightly decided to take the time to develop her own career.
When asked about what influences her lyrics and writing style, she had this to say, "The songs I write come from my own experiences or my perception of someone else’s situation, either way, it's something that has moved me profoundly. I love music that provokes raw emotion regardless of the genre. I grew up listening to everything, so when I write a song it's just a natural process of what's inside of me."
Her voice proudly displays her musical heritage in rich, velvety tones dripping with soul.
