Disliking Silence is an exciting live band. We strive to create a fun entertainment experience for both the fans and the venue. Members from Disliking Silence have played in the following Chicago venues: Taste of Chicago, House of Blues, Abbey Pub, Martyr's, Elbo Room, Reggies, Subterranean, Tonic Room, Miska's, Wise Fool's, and the following Wisconsin venues: Milwaukee Summerfest, The High Noon Saloon, Luther's Blues, The Klinic, The King Club, The Slipper Club, The Club Tavern, and more.
A description of our original music:
Silence…vibration…utterance…context…meaning. Poetry breaking through the din of taciturnity; DS rocks with rare purpose, bringing a new brand and standard of power pop to a multitude of eager ears ready to receive sonic communion. This sense of unity begins with the four band members, chemistry developed both on and off the stage. Presently, talk of their latest studio effort has surfaced. There is a progressive rise of chatter and rumblings as this talent emerges—keep your senses heightened, glean bliss from melody. We are Disliking Silence.
